Reddot design award 2007. Moscow, March 1 - 4

From the 1^st till 4^th of March, in Moscow, all international products honored with red dot design award will be displayed inside the famous exhibition pavilion Gostiny Dvor.

This year, the 8 times red dot laureate Haworth and Business Interiors, authorized Haworth dealer for Russia, will present the revolutionary Zody_System 89 chair. Innovative technologies are reflected in a swivel chair with top functionalities: 4D armrests, PAL^TM Back System for asymmetric lumbar support, pelvic support, 3-point synchronized adjustment, a highly ergonomic seat.

 

Red dot design award

 

The Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen annually stages the international "red dot award: product design". It ranks among the largest and most renowned design competitions in the world. Each year an international jury reviews and evaluates the submitted products according to criteria such as innovation, functionality, and quality. The award is the seal of quality, it stands for the best of best in design and business. The award-winning products are presented in the red dot design museum which is housed in one of the most impressive industrial buildings of the 20^th century, the Boiler House of the former Zollverein XII colliery in Essen. The Zeche Zollverein was declared part of the world cultural heritage by the UNESCO in 2002.
