Neocon 2007
Haworth Showroom Chicago has transformed again.
In 2004, the Haworth Chicago showroom took NeoCon by storm after undergoing the most dramatic renovation in the company's history. The showroom once again recreated itself in 2005 much to the amazement of NeoCon visitors. Last year, people came to the showroom just to see what Haworth would do next. They found yet another stunning transformation.
In 2007, the Haworth showroom has transformed again - sharing how knowledge, integration, sustainability, and global products create the most dynamic spaces.
This year's showroom highlights several new products. Using our global knowledge, a team of designers collaborated to come up with new products that work great alone, but are designed to work better together with any Haworth product solution.
History of the showroom:
2004 The year the showroom was stripped down to its shell and rebuilt using Haworth's full range of products from access floors and moveable walls to systems, casegoods and seating.
2004 The newly renovated showroom exemplified the Haworth brand. The addition of the reflection pool highlighted our strength in design and the versatility of our TecCrete flooring system. The Haworth Chicago showroom won the IIDA 2004 NeoCon Large Showroom Award and achieved a LEED®-CI Gold-Level Certification.
2005 This showroom was built on the successful debut of our 2004 award-winning space. A heightened level of refinements and integration of workspace solutions was highlighted. New products included the introduction of Zody, Enclose and Compose. Our commitment to sustainability continued as we demonstrated performance within our products and throughout the environment.
2006 The introduction of Patterns illustrated greater integration within this adaptable environment. Characterized by design and innovation, Patters was a breakthrough in architectural systems supporting greater planning freedom. Sustainability was inherent as we continued to create great spaces that best adapt to change.
2007 Our holistic approach to adaptable workspace continues. Integration of space, architecture and products is thoughtfully portrayed throughout our showroom. Centered on people and ideas, we incorporate the notion that user satisfaction is directly related to user control within an environment. We offer ideas about how people work and showcase the ability to customize multiple workstyles.
