Reopening of the Haworth Creative Center in Milan during the Salone del Mobile

In occasion of "Salone del Mobile" (the yearly International Furniture's Fair)

Haworth offers a week of events to celebrate the opening of its renovated spaces in Milan.

Nic Bewick from Studio & Partners has redesigned our wonderful Milan showroom located downtown, in front of Sforza Castle.

Some of the project drivers were:

  1. creating a European Centre of excellence that expresses and communicates Haworth's competence and creativity
  2. re-launch our historic spaces in central Milan (Castelli has been based in this building since the ‘50ies)
  3. create an interactive environment in which customers can collaborate effectively with Haworth team
  4. show how Haworth embraces and responds to its claims: Great Spaces- adaptable design
  5. use products creatively to demonstrate the breath of Haworth's abilities
  6. demonstrate a sensitivity towards changing workplace trends and aesthetics...blurring of work/home design, materiality, environmental performance, evolving work-styles
  7. focus on communicating the measured performance quality of products & services - ecological, health, ergonomics, acoustics....

We will celebrate our brand new Haworth Creative Center with an entire week of events:

April 17th: the formal opening party, starting at 6 pm. FMR, one of the most important Publishing Houses in Europe, will present an "Architecture Photo Exhibition".

Each day, April 18th-22nd: "A&D Conversations", coordinated by Gabriele Cappellato (Mendrisio Academy, CH). During these daily appointments architect Cappellato will meet some of the most important players of the A&D community (6pm-8pm) to discuss a variety of architectural themes. Language: Italian

April 19th: a special working lunch on new trends for working environments for a highly selected VIP audience of journalists, architects & designers, customers. Language: Italian.
