Haworth hosts glass design Mimolimit
Prague, June 15th 2007
Mimolimit, the design studio led by Bára Škorpilová, presents its
glass design at the Haworth showroom. The exhibition can be
seen from June 12th on the area of 450 m² amidst The Park office
center in Prague, Chodov. The display ends on August 31st 2007.
"The Mimolimit design in general and the work of Bára Škorpilová in
particular is, in my opinion, the best design work you can currently see in the Czech Republic. We are deeply honoured to host her exhibit. It added a new dimension to our company's rooms," says Petr Štepán, branch manager of Haworth Czech, about the display.
Bára Škorpilová, a VŠUP (Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design,
Prague) graduate, started in a basement in Prague with designing
furniture for her friends. Seven years ago, her schoolmate and she
founded the Mimolimit studio. Besides planning family villas and
arranging furnishings of various hotels and flats, they devise glass
design. "And that's what we decided to display in Chodov at the
Haworth showroom. We are very fond of this collaboration," adds the
assistant Pavla Slavíková and claims that Bára Škorpilová would like to make exhibits more often in the future.
Those interested can not only see the exhibits, but also buy them.
Opening hours of the showroom are from 8.30AM to 5PM every working day. After previous arrangement, it is possible to visit the show
room at any given time.
