Haworth Launches World Innovation at the Orgatec

„Panta rhei" - Everything is in flux. Even the ancient Greeks were aware of the fact that life is subject to constant change. Haworth's Great Spaces concept takes this maxim as its starting point and seeks to provide the user with ways of adapting to necessary change at any time, whatever it may be, with a minimum of difficulty. At this year's Orgatec, the supplier of complete office world systems presents Planes, a range of products that allows the user to live by this philosophy, in accordance with his personal circumstances. Planes reflects the global development that Haworth is currently undergoing, and will be available across all markets in America, Asia and Europe, from the second quarter of 2007.

The designer and interior architect, Daniel Figueroa has created a range of furnishings for Haworth, which is as timeless as it is elegant. They are suitable for all types of room and can be perfectly adapted to their surroundings and requirements. This makes the range just the right choice for all areas of everyday working life in which people are working together. Whether in seminars or meetings, the Planes range represents the communication rooms of the future. Besides being characterised by its light and fresh appearance, the range features a maximum degree of flexibility. Planes furnishings are lightweight and can be assembled without the need for tools. The innovative fast-connector technology combined with the use of lightweight materials means that Haworth has created a worldwide first, a highly durable and long-lasting solution, and a product which clearly marks Haworth out among the competition.

The Planes system is modular and includes a number of different elements, which can be combined in any way, depending on individual requirements. In addition to the three different table forms (a folding table with cable runner, a static table, and a lightweight table with removable feet) the range includes sideboards, shelves, technical trolleys, all-purpose trolleys, catering trolleys, flipcharts and presentation units. Further components are in planning and will be gradually incorporated in the range.
