Haworth up 12% in 2007

HOLLAND, MI - February 7, 2008 - Haworth, Inc. today announced that 2007 sales reached $1.66 billion, up 12 percent from 2006, marking five consecutive years of growth. This increase includes market share gains in North America, Asia Pacific, Europe and Latin America.

"Haworth is growing - gaining market share and improving profitability - through the investments we have made for the last several years," said Franco Bianchi, Haworth President and CEO. "Our strategy and knowledge as a provider of adaptable workspace solutions is proving to be an excellent tool to improve our customer's business. It is being beautifully demonstrated in the design of our products and showrooms around the world. Even with the economic uncertainties in the global market, looking forward in 2008 continues to be exciting due to Haworth's new headquarters, products and customer opportunities."

During 2007, Haworth opened new showrooms around the world, including New York City, Calgary, Sao Paulo and Frankfurt. The annual redesign of the company's flagship Chicago showroom was honored with an Institute Honor Award for Interior Architecture from the American Institute of Architects. In addition, the dramatic transformation of Haworth's global headquarters continued in Holland, Michigan, with opening celebrations planned for May 2008.

Haworth continued to build on its sustainability legacy around the world in 2007 by achieving recognition for sustainable efforts and targeting showrooms for Gold Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) ratings. Haworth received certification by the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification in Italy and an award from the first Lifecycle Building Challenge for the deconstruction and adaptive reuse of materials related to the renovation of the company's headquarters.
