DSC Axis 9000 selected for ADI Design 2007

The below information is the original text sent by ADI (Associazione Per Il Disegno Industriale Italy) and signed by Carlo Forcolini, President of ADI, informing Haworth that our range of institutional seating DSC Axis 9000 has been selected for the ADI Design Index 2007 and we are proud to share it with you!

"We are please to inform you that the Permanent Observatory of Design ADI has selected for the publication of the volume ADI Design Index 2007 your product:
- range of institutional seating DSC Axis 9000
The ADI Design Index 2007 will be officially presented in the evening of March 5th (6 p.m.) in the prestigious headquarters, located in the skyscraper Pirelli in Milan (Auditorium "Giorgio Gaber", Palazzo della Regione Lombardia, Piazza Duca d'Aosta 3, Milan) and will be accompanied by a press conference.
The selection ADI Design Index has been conducted with methodological strictness and using exclusively merit criteria, thanks to the competences and commitment of a wide network of knowledge: the Permanent Observatory of Design is composed by more than 100 experts, organised in committees which operate on three levels (territory commissions, subject commissions, technical commission for support and control).
With ADI Design INDEX 2007 ends the collection of excellent design projects for the years 2005-2006-2007. This collection will be the one examined by an International ADI Committee in order to assign the XXI Compasso d'Oro ADI Award. Products awarded or part of ADI index will become part of the historical collection of "Compasso d'Oro Award", declared as "national heritage of extraordinary artistically and historical interest" by Ministry of Cultural Arts. The Collection - and the brands of the award and the ADI Design Index - belong the Foundation ADI for Italian Design.
While congratulating you (Haworth) for the result achieved so far, we would like to invite you personally to the presentation of the volume on March 5th, to which the Presidents of the Territorial Delegations who have contributed actively to the selection ADI Design Index will attend."
