Arch Moscow 2008
For the last two years Haworth has taken part in one of the most prestigious exhibitions in Moscow: the international exhibition of architecture and design - "Arch Moscow."
The exhibition ran from 27th May to 1st June as part of the official program for the First Moscow Architecture Biennale. The theme was "Ways of Living." Haworth took part in the interior design section.
The exposition covered the following subjects:
- Town-planning,
- Residential and public building construction,
- Contemporary technologies and materials,
- The best examples of interior design.
The key collections presented from Haworth's collections were Planes and K22. Both collections, despite their newness, have already won the appreciation and genuine interest of interior designers and facility managers thanks to a unique design and functionality.
System K22 represents an entirely new solution for workspaces. In creating it, the designer, Mario Ruiz, attached great importance to straight lines and transparent elements. The result is the creation of unblemished, perfectly delineated spaces. The colour range exudes a healthy and pleasant working atmosphere and has a profound effect on the human senses.
The minimalist design provides a comfortable atmosphere. Thanks to its mobility, it allows you to change layouts any time you require: for meetings, conferences, seminars etc. Due to the practical design of Planes, this product allows the user to utilise space efficiently and also store unused elements.
Particular attention should be paid to the design of our exhibition stand. The "shell & core" style showed the product collection in a favourable light, drawing the visitors' attention specifically to the installation. The background banner, depicting the Moscow City skyline, was also an eye-catching addition.
