Haworth Sustainability Report 2007

June 9, 2008 - Haworth, Inc. today released its third annual sustainability report, expanded this year to include a more comprehensive representation of the company's worldwide operations.

The 2007 Sustainability Report tracks Haworth's successes and challenges in meeting its global commitment to sustainable business practices in product design, manufacturing and delivery, as well as the design and construction of its own facilities including showrooms, corporate offices and manufacturing plants. Details also are provided on Haworth's social performance initiatives including community engagement and promoting diversity both inside and outside of the organisation.

Report highlights include environmental profiles of several Haworth products manufactured and marketed worldwide; product and performance highlights from Europe, Asia Pacific and North America; and information on key environmental performance indicators including greenhouse gas emissions and water usage.

The release of Haworth's latest sustainability report coincides with the company's 60^th year in business. The Holland, Michigan based company, founded by G.W. Haworth in 1948, now operates in more than 120 countries and employs more than 8,000 people worldwide. Haworth recently reopened its renovated Holland corporate headquarters, which is registered for LEED-NC (New Construction) Gold certification.
