Haworth introduces a new colour and materials collection

For the majority of companies, the furnishing of their office interiors makes an image statement and reveals the corporate identity. Scientific research also confirms that employees work more efficiently and are more highly motivated when situated in an agreeable environment. Haworth, the full-range supplier for office spaces, has taken note of these findings and integrated the results into their product development with the introduction of their new upholstery and fabric collection.

The new materials inspire both the visual and tactile senses through their sophisticated global design.  The new looks range from classic to sporty and offer a wide colour palette which covers shades from neutral tones up to the latest colour trends as defined by market research.

With the introduction of E-Leather plus, Haworth launches a completely new finish, the result of 10 years of research*. This Eco-leather upholstery material is obtained from recycled leather recovered from scrap leather leftovers after the tanning process. Instead of landfill disposal, the leather scraps are ground, dried and then rolled and bonded in a patented process.

The result of this process is a pigmented surface colour and a sophisticated unique, high-quality recycled leather, ideal for the upholstery of seating which  can also be used in combination with standard textile materials. Optically, E-leather is indistinguishable from conventional leather.
