This System 59 range, developed by Simon Desanta in collaboration with the Haworth Design Team, is characterised by a clear cut design. It is the first Haworth range with an Automatic Weight Control Mechanism, developed in-house by Haworth. This mechanism automatically adjusts the back-rest tension based on the users' weight, removing the need for manual adjustment and ensuring optimal ergonomic support tailored to each user.

Haworth's commitment to sustainability is ever present, with a new material available for the new seat. The eLeather finish creates a smart look without negative impact on the environment. Leather fibres from industry waste are shredded, dried and milled, and then hydro-entangled into a patented process which physically interlinks the fibres without the use of adhesives. Eco-manufacturing includes thermal oxidation for heat and energy recycling, and water treatment systems which close loop recycle 95% of process water.
