Daniel Korb

Design is the art that makes itself useful - that is the company philosophy of Korb+Korb.

Daniel Korb founded the business in 1989 with his wife Susan, who is also a designer. Daniel Korb is specialised in industrial design office, building, household, kitchen, bath, and public design.

Under his direction, the P.O.S. office system was produced for Haworth, a modular office furnishing system that makes a wide range of flexible uses possible with a minimum of parts.

For Korb+Korb, design is more than just the form of an object. The customer is profitably accompanied from the product development to the communication along the entire pathway.

The many awards won include the IF Design Award Hannover, Design Zentrum Nordrhein-Westfalen, Josef Binder Award, and the Chicago Atheneum.

1998 P.O.S.

A forward-looking system for individualised working place design. According to needs, elements such as CPU holders, tablars, sight sails, and third layers can be easily added or removed. The most up-to-date information technology can be integrated in next to no time.

2000 P.O.S. elegance.

The hovering tabletop, placed on an aluminium framework, endlessly flexible and variable - an intelligent, elegant construction principle, P.O.S. elegance integrates itself into the architecture a straightforward, unpretentious and discreet manner.
