ITO-Design

ITO Design was founded by Armin Sander in Nuremberg in 1987. From there and from the branch in Cham in Switzerland, which was opened in 2001, the company cares for its international customers.

The activities of ITO Design extend over various fields including office furniture, industrial and consumer goods.

The improvement of life is at the core of the ITO designs. According to Armin Sander, design does not exist for itself but also has responsibilities. "A good designer does not look solely at the product but acts in a market-oriented manner. He thinks in the categories of the customers' wishes, analyses the entire market segment, becomes a part of the firm and the product because good design comprises not only aesthetics and function. Good design sells."

Among other items, ITO developed System X-99 and together with the Haworth development team Zody_System 89 for Haworth. A chair for the flexible use in the congress, meeting, seminar, and training sectors.
