Emmanuel Dietrich

Emmanuel Dietrich was born in 09/29/1969, and this omnipresence of the 9 was undoubtedly determinant in his search for forms which come to be placed in the hollow of the hand. But this passion for the softness and the continuity of the shapes comes for him with a need for clearness and order on a larger scale. It's on this contrast that his work for Haworth is based. Free-lance designer since 1993 after he was graduated from the Boulle School and worked with some design agencies, Emmanuel Dietrich collaborates with companies as different as Hermès, Artelano, Häagen Dazs..., with the deep feeling that the best ideas spring up from the diversity and from the tensions between apparently contradictory universes.
