We are happy to share with you the programme of the events that Haworth Italy will arrange for the week Tuesday 15th - Saturday 19th April 2008, at Haworth Creative Center in Milan, Italy, with the occasion of the "Salone del Mobile" (Internation furniture fair).
Tuesday, 15th April 2008 (6.30 p.m.): "DISCOVERING MUMBAI".
Launch of MUMBAI, the new executive furniture line designed by Doriana and Massimiliano Fuksas.
Wednesday, 16th April 2008 (6.30 - 8 p.m.): DESIGN WORKSHOP
Design workshop in cooperation with the national economic newspaper "Il Sole 24 ore". Mario Cucinella will be interviewed by Marco Casamonti for "Area" and "Materia"
Thursday, 17th April 2008 (6.30 - 8 p.m.): DESIGN WORKSHOP
Design workshop in cooperation with the national economic newspaper "Il Sole 24 ore". Michele De Lucchi will be interviewed by Giovanni Leoni for "D'Architettura".
Friday, 18th April 2008 (6.30 - 8 p.m.): DESIGN WORKSHOP

Friday, 18th April 2008 (at 8 p.m.): "PLIA NABA FUTURARIUM"

Saturday, 19th April 2008 (at 11 a.m.): DESIGN WORKSHOP
Design workshop in cooperation with the national economic newspaper "Il Sole 24 ore". Alberto Cecchetto will be interviewed by Giuseppe Turchini for "Il Sole 24 ore Arketipo"
As outlined above we will start on Tuesday 15th with the launch of Mumbai, the new executive furniture line designed by Doriana and Massimilano Fuksas - a big party, in the Eve of the fair, to celebrate the launch of the new product. Furthermore, from Wednesday 16th to Saturday 19th design workshops will be arranged every day with the partnership of the national economic newspaper "Il sole 24 ore", during which renowned architects will be interviewed by famous architecture critics and experts from architecture magazines. On Friday evening 18th April will take place the "Plia NABA Futurarium" event - an important charity initiative and a competition for redesigning the Plia chair, in cooperation with NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belli Arti - School of Fine arts) in Milan.
