Challenge
Installing public seating in two lecture halls in a style that would complement those already furnished. The focus was on simple cleaning and upkeep, and the solution was fixed seating that was both sturdy and comfortable.
The DSC Axis 4000 is a classic amongst public seating and fitted perfectly with the building architecture: a 1914 building by Karl Moser.
The images show the beautiful contrast between the black coated beech seats and the writing surfaces in natural beech, while the folding chairs ensure comfort and silence as the students take their seats. What is more, DSC Axis 4000 ensures comfort, even when sitting for an extended duration.
Scope
The project called for 240 seats in two lecture halls.
