Challenge
Moving from 6,315m2 to 13,000m2 while nearly doubling the headcount. They planned to address the branding and image that Motorola wanted to give their customers and visitors - providing a really strong impression of their operation.
Haworth was tasked with setting up a space around how people want to work today, developing different working environments that could adapt to different requirements.
The workplace intended to cater for open plan space with as much natural light as possible, so private offices were kept in the central core of the building. A mobile workforce required hotdesking and touchdown spaces, and the restaurant area aimed to double as a casual meeting area.
