German Hygiene Museum

Industry: Education
Germany, Dresden

The Deutsche Hygiene Museum is an open forum for discussion, open to everyone who is interested in the cultural, social and scientific revolutions taking place in our society at the beginning of the 21st century.

Its temporary exhibitions address current or historical themes with regard to science and society, art and culture. At the centre of the permanent exhibition with a popular science slant, "Human Adventure", are the body and health – topics that visitors can explore with the help of exhibits, media units and many interactive displays.

Challenge

The modern conference centre needed a sophisticated institutional seating solution. Haworth furnished the auditorium with 110 bright pink seats with fold-away tables and clear row and seat numbering.

The new lecture theatre is on the 4th floor of the Hygiene Museum and will host seminars, conferences and lectures.
