The origins of the Dresden Hochschule für Musik are tied to the names Carl Maria von Weber and Richard Wagner. This music Academy offers more than 600 students an education at the same level as a University of Music.
Challenge
Providing seating for a new concert hall and the nearby lecture rooms which would meet the acoustic requirements. A timeless design, seating with a high level of comfort and flexible usage were also requested.
The concert hall seats 450 on Haworth's System X-66, with row numbering, seat numbering, fixings to the floor, and the ability to fold up and stack for tidying. The colours blend perfectly with the hall, creating a very elegant environment.
