Orgatec 2010: Spotlight on Vados storage
The name says it all: “vado” is Latin for go, change, transform or adapt, the “s” stands for storage. In today’s business environment a cabinet range has to be capable of accommodating change and transformation, so adaptability is a key factor. Vados, Haworth’s brand-new cabinet range on view for the first time at Orgatec 2010, meets all these requirements – the ideal storage solution.
The Vados range features a new body concept with a uniform design that looks great from every angle. Whether the front, back or side is on display, they combine with each other and seamlessly integrate into widely varying workspaces. Customers can basically create their own cabinets through a wide range of optional features – a process that will be facilitated in future by inputting the OFML data into Haworth’s pCon Planner. Planning and designing a workspace is a lot simpler with Vados.
New features
Vados comes with a number of interesting new features. The rear panel and front panels of folding doors are available in paint board, which is particularly useful in creative cultures. Users can choose between three rear panel options: textile, textile and acoustic or acoustic panels. In contrast to competitors’ models where acoustic or textile finishes involve an additional panel and thus greater depth, all Vados cabinets are the same depth, which has obvious advantages if several of them are placed in freestanding positions. No matter how it is arranged in a workspace, Vados always looks the part.
Since the Vados plinth and a slim grip bar are available in a range of colours (silver, white, black and champagne), these cabinets match any Kiron system perfectly, again ensuring a visually harmonious workspace.
